Georgia Tech Cyber Security offers remote logging services for the archiving of system and application logs. By sharing your system’s logs with Cyber Security, you gain the benefits of:
- “Off the box” logging – The logs are not just on your system, which keeps them safe from tampering (in the case of a server compromise), or loss (in the case of a server failure)
- High retention – Cyber Security retains remote logs for 6 months or longer, depending on disk space storage demands. If you are limiting your server’s log retention to save disk space, this service will act as a non-permanent, but longer term, log archive.
