All Environments
- Georgia Tech networks are required to have a network firewall in place
- Firewalls must be centrally supported
- Follow the principle of least privilege
- Deny connections by default
- Allow by exception
- Rules should have business justification and rational design
Client Environments
- Outbound traffic can be allow by default
- Inbound rules should only be created for asset administration
